THE FOUNDATION
A Legacy of Rescue
In 2000, Dr. Phil Good and a group of dedicated animal advocates founded the Homeless Pets Foundation with a single, unwavering mission: no adoptable animal in metropolitan Atlanta should be euthanized for lack of space, resources, or love.

What began as a small foster network has grown into one of Georgia’s most respected rescue organizations. HPF operates through a network of volunteer foster families, community partnerships, and the tireless support of Beyond Pets Animal Hospital, which provides veterinary care to every rescued animal at no charge.
