This year marks a milestone for Beyond Pets Animal Hospital and the Good family legacy. It was 1979 when Dr. Phil Good first opened the doors to his veterinary practice in Marietta, Georgia, fueled by a simple but profound belief: that every animal deserves the highest standard of care, delivered with kindness.
In those early days, the practice was modest. Dr. Good treated everything from dairy cows and horses to the family dogs and cats that would become the heart of his work. He made house calls in the rural stretches outside Atlanta, often arriving before sunrise and not returning home until well after dark.
Over the decades, the practice evolved alongside the community it served. Beyond Pets Animal Hospital grew from a one-man operation into a full-service veterinary hospital, but the founding principles never changed. Every animal that walks through the doors receives the same attentive, compassionate care that Dr. Good provided to his very first patient forty-five years ago.
Today, with his son Dr. Michael Good continuing the tradition, the practice stands as a testament to what happens when dedication meets compassion. Here is to the next forty-five years.
