The Good family veterinary tradition enters a new chapter as Dr. Michael Good officially joins Beyond Pets Animal Hospital as a full-time associate veterinarian. For the first time in the practice history, two generations of the Good family are working side by side.
Dr. Michael Good graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, the same institution where his father earned his degree decades earlier. But the younger Dr. Good brings more than a shared alma mater. His training includes advanced coursework in veterinary dentistry, minimally invasive surgery, and integrative medicine approaches that complement the practice existing expertise.
Growing up in this practice shaped everything about who I am as a veterinarian, Dr. Michael said. I watched my father treat every animal like it was his own. That is the standard I hold myself to.
Having my son join the practice is the greatest professional honor of my career, says Dr. Phil Good. Not because he is my son, but because he is exactly the kind of veterinarian our patients and their families deserve.
